WINSTON ROD COMPANY PRESENTS CHECK TO THE TROUT UNLIMITED JEFFERSON RIVER PROJECT ON BEHALF OF WORLD TROUT ![]() Today, R.L. Winston Rod Co., on behalf of the World Trout organization, presented its first check for $1,460 to Trout Unlimited for the Jefferson River Project and their work to revitalize the Jefferson River watershed and its rainbow and brown trout fishery. Winston today announced the winners of its second FlyFishingMovies.com Film Festival for the period ending December 31, 2007. Over 50 films were submitted for the current festival. Jury member James Prosek commented after watching the festival films, “I thought they were a really a good bunch! A lot of fun to watch. I especially liked ones that had a little irony and humor …..flyfishing is serious business, but it’s still recreation, play-acting an old predatory ritual…..it should be fun.
